Next workshop: Saturday 8th April with Peter Philpott

The next Writers Forum Workshop – New Series will be on Saturday 8th April at The Barley Mow pub, 127 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3BX (nearest stations: Old Street and Shoreditch High Street). 4pm start, finishing for 6pm. Free admission. Please join us and bring some new writing to share. This month it is our pleasure to host an extended presentation by Peter Philpott, followed by discussion of his work.

Peter Philpott ran Great Works Press and magazine in the 1970s, the Great Works and modernpoetry.org.uk websites in the 2000s – both sites now only occasionally rumbling, except for the Innovative Poetry Readings in London event listings webpage. He was socialised into poetry through Cambridge School c. 1970; now proudly attends Writers Forum Workshop – New Series. Most recent book: Ianthe Poems from Shearsman (2015); forthcoming: Wound Scar Memories from Great Works Editions (spring, 2017).
